Does creating a specimen launch a token?
No. GeneLab creates and saves your identity files locally. Token deployment and all on-chain settings are handled separately on your chosen launch platform.
What happens to the parent tokens?
Their public addresses are recorded as creative lineage in metadata. Selecting a parent does not transfer, combine or burn any tokens.
Where do my saved specimens live?
In this browser's local storage. Export the avatar and metadata to keep a copy outside this device. Clearing browser storage removes locally saved drafts.
